No need for resolutions...

... I've got my 30 before 30 list!

I make the same resolutions as most of us do every year. Eat better. Exercise more. Save more. Make the most of my free time. Do 72 jumping jacks a day. Stand on my head every 3 days. You know, normal goals.

I try not to put pressure on myself while still trying to stay motivated.

So instead of setting myself up for failure this year, I'm going to set more realistic and achievable goals. Like the goals in my 30 before 30 list. Which is also why this post appears to be 29 days late... but I swear, I planned it this way!

So, which ones will I try to tackle in 2013? If you've been following along, you would have seen this update in mid-December.

Volunteer with the pup - I completed my volunteer orientation a couple weeks ago at a retirement facility and I had my first solo session last week. Soon the dog and I will have our first session together to meet some residents!

Monthly date with girlfriends. The holiday season provided me with the opportunity to blow this goal out of the water. As for January, I've spent some time with great friends and even have a date with the girls tomorrow night. I hope to be even more social in February.

Road trip to the East Coast - I think this will be accomplished this year if I'm able to attend my lovely girlfriend's wedding in New Brunswick this coming August. It would be a delight and privilege to be a part of it, so I hope we can swing it!

Scrapbooking needs to get back on track... still in the middle of the Chicago one!

The gym... has been great! I went to 2 group fitness classes and on the days that I don't do a class I try to either go for a long walk with the dog or spend some time on the elliptical.

What are you resolving to do in 2013? Or what are you boycotting resolving?
Tell me!
Happy Tuesday :)
