No recipe today...

... I am nursing a bad hangover in bed thanks to a work Christmas party full of shenanigans last night. Christmas party in January you say? We're crazy like that. Christmas party when it "feels like" -38C at night?? And a Hawaiian themed party at that. Oh the irony...

So, just a little pit stop to say what's up?
And what kind of recipe reviews would you like me to do next for What's for Dinner Wednesday? Any fun suggestions?

I was thinking I could do a series called "Fish: For people who hate fish." Because I really dislike eating fish but I have been trying to incorporate it into my diet. It's hard to sneak fish in on yourself. a) because it's really smelly. and b) because you're an adult trying to trick yourself. It just doesn't work.

So, thoughts? Suggestions? Advil? Anything at all... let's talk.
Happy "hump" day all! :)

  1. Drink lots of water!! Every time I drink too much, the next day I'm like Why did I do that?!! Your work sounds like a hoot! :) I like fish, I'm just not too familiar with cooking it, so feel free to bring on the fish recipes!

  4. Sorry about the hangover, but I bet you had a blast!

I'm not a big fish fan either, but I try to make it once a week - which usually turns into once a month, but hey, the thought is there :-) One of my favourite kinds of fish is cod. There's something about the colour and texture that I like - I find it "meatier" than other kinds of fish, if that makes sense. I love this cod in red curry - it's very similar to the panang you can get at Thai restaurants:

So all that being said, a fish for people who don't like fish series is a good idea :-) Also, a series on fast & healthy meals would be helpful.
